Usually a very picky reader, I limit what I read to the same types of authors, plots, style, etc. As a New Years resolution to broaden my reading (for pleasure-not mandatory stuff) I joined a Book Club through Big Picture Scrapbooking. Each month we read a different type of book, discuss it on the Discussion board and then create a different type of theme based scrapbook. I signed up and was disappointed when I saw that this was the first book. I was basing it on my initial impression. WOW! I was so wrong. This book has tore at my heartstrings and I can't put it down. I was organizing the drawers in our home office tonight and kept thinking about the characters. I highly recommend this book.
