Easter 2006 Layout!

This isn't one of the pictures from this Easter, but I fell in love with the colors in the kit and the colors the kids have on. I love everything about this layout! I am thrilled with how it turned out.

When I saw these Doodlebug pages, I fell in love with the designs. I love puppy dog stuff but these are just way too cute,. The pic is one of my son and our beloved Pomeranian, that passed away last summer.

I just love this new digital kit, Bunny Trail from Sweet Shoppe Designs. I can't belive that Logan has grown up so much since this photo was taken. I am struggling with pre-empty nest syndrom as time races forward and he will soon be on his own.

We had a busy weekend. We went to eat at Furr's later in the evening last night and drove by the storage buildings at Lowe's on the way home. They were closing but the salesman outside came up to us and offered Paul 10% off and free delivery! Couldn't pass that up-SOLD! They even had it to our house (unassembled of course) by noon today. Finally, we can get some of our outdoor stuff (lawnmowers, ladders, storage stuff for our buisnesses, etc.) out of the garage. I even went through half of my closet today and got rid of everything that I didn't like anymore (which was half of what I looked at). It's only the 2nd day of March and already we have Tornado watches. It is going to be a roller coaster spring!

This is a scraplift from Kim Crothers/bhgdigital scrapbooking. I loved everything about the page Kim did and just had to make a page like it with my sweet Gracie's face on it. I love the colors, the doodle frame and the flowers.

Paul now has the tummy bug = ( When will this sickness ever go away? They are saying that the flu has reached epidimic proportions for us locally. I was looking at the trees today and its such a relief to know that spring is on it's way! I can't wait to spend the first few days of it in sunny California. I am getting very excited about our trip. I need the getaway because life has been so crazy for me the last few months.

I had a great lunch yesterday with a very dear friend, Karen. She had moved away and has returned. We have so much in common that two hours flew by and we didn't nearly catch up on everything with each other. She is passionate about kids and giving them what they need to make it in this world. She is amazingly beautiful from the inside out and I am blessed to call her my friend. I can't wait until we can do lunch again.
